The platform specifically targets training in Medical Certification of Cause of Death (MCCoD) and related data analysis, addressing unique regional needs.

    The MCCoD Training Course equips health professionals with the knowledge and skills needed for accurate certification of causes of death, ensuring consistency and reliability in mortality data.

    The Data Analysis Course, will empower learners to analyze health data effectively, offering tools for data visualization and interpretation to support evidence-based decision-making.

Improving Cause of Death Reporting

Welcome to the Improving Cause of Death Reporting e-learning course. This training has been developed by the World Health Organization Regional Office for Africa, in conjunction with the Burden of Disease Research Unit of the South African Medical Research Council, and in collaboration with the Centre for Community Technologies at Nelson Mandela University.
